Predicted to be active in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; respiratory system; and sensory organ. Used to study Scheuermann's disease and Sotos syndrome. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Marshall-Smith syndrome and Sotos syndrome 2. Orthologous to human NFIX (nuclear factor I X).
