Used to study Moyamoya disease; autosomal dominant nonsyndromic deafness 20; patent ductus arteriosus; and thoracic aortic aneurysm. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including Baraitser-Winter syndrome; artery disease (multiple); atrial heart septal defect 5; intrinsic cardiomyopathy (multiple); and myopathy (multiple).
